  Building a career in the Intellectual Property field and with extensive family commitments, Ilya was leading a busy and hectic life. He was literally worrying about everything under the sun. Ilya went to a hot yoga practice and fell in love with it, attending over 300 classes in the first year alone. He discovered the wonders of letting go and the beauty of a non-competitive practice. The biggest gift that yoga gave Ilya was the discovery of the balance between the body and the mind, the ability to let go of his "Type-A" personality and forgetting the need to be the best in everything.

After attaining his RYT-200 qualification, Ilya loves leading hot yoga classes, while creating a safe and relaxing environment for all his students. With particular focus on proper alignment, Ilya enables his students to enjoy the most benefits out of their practice. To deepen and broaden his teaching skills, Ilya has pursued further training in Yoga for Mature Adults, Yoga Adjustment Techniques, Street Yoga teaching. Ilya also leads a number of workshops and participates in Hot Yoga Wellness teacher training.
